My trip to Rwanda was an incredibly moving experience, filled with poignant memories of everyday family life. In this rural village, simplicity reigned supreme, yet it was a simplicity rich with joy and a profound sense of familial duty.

I observed young girls diligently carrying their younger siblings on their backs, enabling their parents to work and earn the necessary income for their household's survival. Witnessing this sense of responsibility at such a young age was both inspiring and heartwarming. The women in the village undertook demanding tasks that would likely challenge men in more developed countries, showcasing their resilience and strength.

Meanwhile, the children found joy in their play, gathering together to create their own entertainment, often using their imagination and resourcefulness. This vibrant community spirit and the bonds shared among family members left a lasting impression on me, highlighting the beauty of their interconnected lives and the happiness that can be found in simplicity.
